s3 screen not responding

[Android Question]

Randomly in the middle of the night my (att) s3 screen stopped responding to my touch. I can get text messages, phone calls,play music, charge it everything works but the screen. I need to get in contact with people and I can't. Is there anyway I can fix it on my own? I already tried the factory reset.
