Hey today I left my iPhone and bought a GS3 (first android device), my question is I have a car stereo with a usb port and iPhone support and I always connected my iPhone trough usb, now when I connect my S3 it only plays trough S3's speakers. Shouldn't it be recognized as a normal usb device? Thanks for the replys.

Hello and welcome to the android forums . I see your having trouble with your new android device . May i ask what are you playing in the car and what type of radio is this that have the usb.

Cause if u have a hands frree car u can connect your music with your bluetooth but if u go to pandora or something like that youll need the aux cable remember i phone is not like android

The radio is a Pioneer MVH-150UI and it has a usb and aux port, it has iPhone support so when I connected my iPhone via usb, I could play any music that came from the iPhone trough the car stereo. Now when I connect my S3 it just plays from the phone's speakers and its not recognized as a usb device. I mainly use Spotify when I play music.

Moved your post here for proper help and support, cheers ;)

That true but the op needs to go into the aux section and see if the phone is showed up on the radio its a aux section and it will show aux or usb .you will chose usb and see if your s3 is shown
