Just got a new S4 and got the otterbox defender case and holster. I must say im truly not impressed with the holster. I have had the phone drop out of it several times now. I like the way the Seido holsters hold the phone but they have several available. Wondering what one would work with the defender case? im thinking the extended?

I can only speak from Note 2 experience, Seidio CONVERT holster worked well with Commuter but not Defender. Defender is too thick in general, not sure if any Seidio holsters will work with it. Maybe try to buy it from Amazon to see if you can return back if it doesn't work. But my vote - it will not fit.
and I do agree, Seidio holsters with spring-loaded latch are the best! I used it occasionally with my UAG case (CONVERT holster). CONVERT/OBELIX holster especially great with a locking mechanism.
