Android Question

I had a Galaxy S2 (AT&T) with Go SMS Pro and was able to send video files up to about 90 seconds long via MMS.

I just upgraded to the Galaxy S4 (still AT&T and still Go SMS Pro) and can only send video files that are about 20 seconds long.

I have changed the settings to allow the largest video files -- I have adjusted my camera settings to a lower resolution -- I have manually entered the APN and proxy and ports and mmsc.. Still can't get the video length to go over 20 seconds.. or about 375K.

HELP?!?!

Hi, and thanks for taking the time to post your question.

Your new phone's camera has a higher resolution (pixel density?) (13 megapixels on the s4 vs 8 megapixels on the s2) which makes the videos significantly larger. When you send a video via MMS it doesn't matter how long (seconds) it is. The restriction is based on the size of the file (mb).

You are simply trying to send a file that is to large to be transfered using mms
