Well I can remember trawling the internet back in the days of making my own f-bus and m-bus cables, so much has changed!
I remembered the community being very closed and selfish at least where I ended up, I am sure it was not always the case, but it is great to join a forum which is so open to sharing and helping one another. :smokingsomb:
I recently got an S4 GT-i9505, I love it to bits, I first used an S2 ace II android and thought they was cool...
I had it for 2 weeks before somebody else knocked it and chipped the glass, only 1mm x 1mm, right at the top left edge, so I promptly ordered up 2 legit glasses and a tube of LOCA, :O Expensive glue!
That is a project for another day, as I still have lots of equipment to buy before trying to undertake a glass replacement... UV fixer, dusters solvents etc etc..
So here is wishing the digitizer good luck!
Anyway, I would like to say namaste, hello and peace to all on AF and thank you for having me!
I will be posting soon to root my phone, I feel capable of doing it, not really a newb to flashing/hacking about with various hardwares and softwares, and playing with linux platforms, I just want to make 100% sure that I am able to flash, or have the specifics correct before performing the flash of dread.
