S4 or iPhone 5

This is a serious question. No trolling here. I'm looking at getting the S4 or the iPhone 5. I've had several androids before and while I like it I've thought about going to the dark side.

Anyone with experience on both? How does the battery life compare?

From features I really only care about email, camera and audio. I know both phones are supposed to be outstanding.

The last time I considered going to iPhone they had stripped out Google Maps but I see that is back in the app store.

Hi Facinated! That's funny, because I am a current iPhone 5 user, and have been Apple since the iP3! Now I am considering "defecting" to Android, either the S4 or the Note2!! LOL I have never used Android though, so I can't help with the comparison. I have enjoyed my iPhones, but feel like trying the "other side"! The bummer is, I'm not eligible for upgrade until 9/14, so I would have to pay full price to pull the trigger on either one! Still weighing the options and thinking really hard on it. Good luck on your decision!!

If you can hold out some more time (a month or two), I'd say wait until the iPhone 5S/6 is announced. Other than that, sorry I don't have any other advice to offer.

By September, you'd have the iPhone 5S/6 and the Note 3 announced. Wait till then.

The S3 I have is every bit as smooth as any iPhone. And this coming from a former Apple fan.

Get the HTC One. I love the design and user interface of HTC.It just feels so premium.

I got the S4 and love it. I have never tried Iphone before, only tried the demo sets. It is really a small screen and it just it not comfortable for my eyes. The words are small. And I heard that iphone need itunes and it is troublesome. Android just plug and play.
