S5 and band 12

I understand that band 12 is not available for the S5.

I just bought a new S5 900A for AT&T. It is unlocked.

I am considering returning it and going with a phone that supports band 12.

Anyone here with experience that can shed some light on how impactful having band 12 is as it relates to Tmobile and AT&T?

Band 12 is a recent addition to the networks, I personally don't think it will have much impact right now.
IIRC, it was only last year, or the year before that the FCC put it up for auction?

LTE won't be on it, so why care?

Hi, depends on what you want with band 12 IMO. As far as reception goes in my experience it is better. Internet speed however is horrible so far. My fastest speed was 1.26 on band 12. So if you use lte band 4 is a lot faster about 33- 37 down for me. To put things into perspective h+ (4g non lte) gets me 8-16. Anyway, it really depends this has been my experience in Miami on tmobile towers with my lg stylo. I really hope this helps,
