Help S5/bluetooth/svoice/ caller id

Hi all,
I am a new member and am not tech savvy at all. I have what I thought was a simple question, but I haven't been able to find an answer so I am posting here.
I have a galaxy s5 paired to my LG tone bluetooth and I use S voice. I would love to know who is calling when I have my bluetooth on in he car, office etc, but would like that announced through my bluetooth rather than through the external speaker for everyone in my office to hear.. If that isn't possible, can I hear the individual ringtones I have set for contacts through my bluetooth? (I never knew a simple caller ID request cold be so complicated). Do you have any app suggestions or thoughts or am I just missing something obvious?

Which version of Android do you have on your phone? I am asking this because the sound settings are different between Kit-kat and Lollipop...

The only thing that worked for me was to either set the ringtone to silent or vibrate, and then set the media volume (or bluetooth) volume to halfway, for example.

Basically what happens is that when the phone ringtone is on and you get a call, the ringtone will sound through the speaker of the phone. When that ringtone is silenced or on vibrate, you should be able to hear it through wired or bluetooth headphones since the phone speaker is silenced.

I am using 4.4.4 and have not found a way to stop the announcement via the speaker even though I have my Bluetooth headset on.

that said, I am now trying to see if MacroDroid can be used to accomplish that. (I am retired, no office here to hear me :)

Trigger: Bluetooth event / Device connected: any
Action: Notification : minimized

touch Right Arrow twice, give it a Label/Name

1st test: Ringer was heard on speaker and BT headset with Macro activated.
But I did not hear any Notification Announcement

2nd test: chg'd macro to Max Notification when BT activated ( to reverse the 1st macro ) I still did not hear an announcement... not sure why....

Some of my contacts, I have the Notifications ON, others I don't. Not sure if the mish mash methods effected this or not.

MacroDroid is free for 5 macros, so won't cost you anything to give it a try.
