I like to occasionally take the photo sphere pics that the Google Camera app can do. It seems like the lens blur/focus effect is more flexible in the Google Camera. What advantages are there to the S4 camera app?
Also, sometimes the S5 camera app asks me to hold the phone still for a very long time (when the lighting isn't super-bright). It seems like I can "give up" and it will use whatever time has been spent to make a pic. It seems like that would be weird at something like a concert - not knowing how long to hold the phone (I trying to take 1 or 2 quick pics at shows, and avoid being distracting as possible).
Edit: I see that the S5 video has some options like slow-motion, which the Google Camera does not. And it can shoot at a higher resolution.
Any experience with the audio at a loud concert for each app?
