s5 charging problem

I got new s5 and it charges fine when plugged into wall adapter..


when i try to connect to computer with usb cable it is charging very very slow.. Is it normal that it charges slow with computer usb.

its working fine with home charger.

Yes that's normal, they have different outputs.

I'd venture to say that's a very normal problem. When I had my old phone, Galaxy Nexus (the original), it did the same thing. A computer is not made for charging.
 
USB charging is usually the slowest way possible.

The trick is that the plug provides much more amp and power to charge the battery faster. You can find not original chargers and batteries online that will boost ur charging times.

I am super happy with the SGS5 and it battery btw!
 
maybe it is your the problem of your USB cable, which has poor quality that the current is a little small.

Not if he's using the same cable that he plugs into the wall. Like another poster mentioned, the output from the wall vs the computer is different, so it will affect charging speed.
