According to the specs the S5 Mini can use up to a 64GB SD card.

128gb micro sdxc works without formatting it down side it only reads it to 116gb I would like another 6gb to 8gb.

The usable storage amount is always a little less then the stated amount. For example a 32GB SD card will have around 29-30GB of usable storage, same with hard drives.

116GB sounds about right for a 128GB SD card.

I have a external 5tb Seagate HD ture size is 4.54gb. HD companies need to state much closer to the true size the lager the HD the more space you will lose.
