S5 Switching between Hspa & Hspa+ on three uk

Hi, I'm looking for some advice please. I have just bought a new s5 and am having some issues with my data connection.
At work where I have a great signal, my data keeps switching between Hspa and hspa+.
When I'm on hspa my data connection fails and have to wait about 90 seconds for the + to re appear then it connects again. Once connected I can hit speeds around 20 no problem. I have tried all the data settings on the phone to try and keep it on + but nothing works? Is there any way to do it? It also happened on a couple of s4's I tried but no issues with an iPhone 5. According to three, there are no network problems in my area. I don't want to go back to an iPhone as I'm loving Android but this is doing my head in!
Thanks

Different hardware handles signals better or worse. Also on the s3 I noticed that if you are on aosp and not touch wiz you tended to have a more difficult time finding weaker cell reception. My advice should be to get on touch wiz and maybe get one of those fancy reception boosters you plug in the wall. Other than that I'm not sure. Sorry

I'm on 3 as well duckula, i see what you see with the S5 switching between H and H+ but on mine it sticks on H+ when its downloading data then reverts to H when idling and i dont suffer that 90s delay you mention, well it dloads data regardless of what mode it is in. I also have a very strong connection. Maybe you have a hardware fault in your S5? OR more likely there might be a lot of contention where you are with 3?

Thanks for the replies. Unfortunately I can't get a signal booster as my problem is happening in work where my signal is fill strength which is weird. As for it being a hardware fault, it has done this on a few galaxy phones including the Note 2 and S4. It's such a pain, I'm browsing away then bang, it freezes and I lose the +, then after a short time I get an error message. Looks like I'm going to have to go back to my iPhone 5 :-( Thanks
