S5 Wireless Charging

I am buying a Honda which has wireless charging for phone. My S5 does not have the right back for wireless charging. If I buy the right back (being sold on eBay) will it charge faster than than the USB charger? Does anyone have experience with S5 wireless charging, if so would appreciate the thoughts.

Lunatic's right, wireless charging will be at about half the rate of full-speed wired charging.
Some other points from direct experience with my S5-
If you replace the back with the Samsung wireless charging back or a third-party knockoff, it will be almost impossible to find a case that works with it because of the extra thickness. If you have a case on it now expect it not to fit any more. There are wireless charging coils that fit under the original back and allow for a case to still fit.
Most wireless charging setups have a maximum distance of about 5-8mm between the coil and the pad, more than that and charging rate falls off or stops. Some cases may be too thick for it to work.
The heat is an issue, it kills batteries. After replacing a few in a relatively short time I've given up on the wireless charging.

I use wireless charging almost exclusively for my S5 and before that with a S3. I bought the charging coil that goes behind the original cover so I can still use any case I want. I have 3 charging pads. 1 by my bed, 1 on my desk at home, and 1 on my desk at work. Yes it charges slower, so I think it would be pointless in the car. I'd be surprised if it could even keep up with using the GPS. But, like now while my phone is sitting on my desk, it's great. If I'm setting my phone down while I use my PC or sleeping it might as well be charging and with no wear and tear on the micro-sd port. So, it's good for keeping your phone charged when you're not using it much but it's no replacement for the charge rate of a corded charger.

edit: Also as far as heat, I haven't had any problems with batteries going bad. I got over 2 years out of the original battery in my S3 and I'm still using my original battery in my S5 which is just over a year old.
