S6 edge Marshmallow update..

Hi, I've just got the MM update on my s6 edge plus, as for a while, I've been completely underwhelmed, looks the same, barely anything new. Now here's the question
..does.the s7 have a different version of touchwiz as I thought I mite get the always on display,.but sadly not. Surely there's no reason why the s6 can't have it?

If it's a new feature with the S7 (I've not been keeping that close a watch) then I'd not expect them to give it to the S6 until the S7 has been available for a little while.

No inside information, just that if I were them I'd not steal the new phone's thunder by giving the old one its features before or just after it launches.
