S6 Edge Only Connected to 4G LTE One Time...Now I Get H+

I recently traded my iPhone 6 for an S6 Edge. I love the phone but I ran into a major issue: I never get LTE. The guy I traded moved to California the day after he traded me and so obviously there is no trading back. The main issue is tat I only get cellular with H+ and from my research H+ sits in-between 4G and 3G. My carrier is AT&T and the back of the phone says Verizon. So I wasn't surprised when I found I only get H+. But the guy said that he had AT&T and he got LTE, but I thought he was lying; he's in California now so....nothing I can do. I gave up on typing in APN's and resetting the phone and all the dumb obvious stuff. I figured it would never work. But then today I had LTE for a few hours and it worked great. Now its back to H+. Anyone know how to get LTE? I know its possible now

According to willmyphonework.net it's partial 4G LTE for that combination of S6 Edge version and carrier.

So you might be in an area where this Verizon phone doesn't have the required 4G LTE bands for AT&T...and probably not a lot you can do about that, unless you move, like to California?
