S6 not charging

I woke up this morning to my phone being off after being plugged in all night as usual. Not sure why it was off but I thought nothing of it and turned it on and noticed I had about 70 % battery. Weird but I continued on with my day.

I am not down to 30% and plugged my phone into my fast charger and it is not charging. If I turn my phone off and hit the power button I get the battery with a lightning bolt screen as if it is going to charge. But then I see a battery with my percentage and no more lightning bolt. After letting it sit like that my battery is not charging.
Any known issues with this?

Tried cleaning USB port, used a known working usb cable/charger. tried a good ol love tap as well. Also tried to plug into my computer with debugging on with nothing happeneing. I feel like it may be an issue with the hardware like a problem with the port.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Yes wireless charging works.
I still think it is an issue with the port. Has anyone had expierence with fixing this part?

found lots of info on this.
~$10 part. in depth disassembly. gotta use a heat gun to remove the back and screen. lots of stuff to take apart and pull the charging port board out which is apart of the front face button
