Help S6 Wont let me connect to a pc with marshmallow 6.0

I have a verizon galaxy s6 with marshmallow on it.

Used to I could just connect to my pc and browse my phone on it no problem to drag off pictures, videos or see all the file folders.

I updated to marshmallow a couple days ago and I hooked it to my pc today. When I hook it up I know it is because its starts charging off the pc but windows 7 gives me new device noise like usual, no dialouge box, no nothing.

What do I need to do?
 
On my phone running MM I have to grant the PC access to my phone files on the phone, it could be something like that try looking under storage settings
 
6.0 automsyically cpnnecys in chsrge mode. After connecting, on your phone swipe down from the top and change your USB setting to MTP.
 
I eventually got it working again by using the cable supplied with my fast charger. Nothing else seems to work, since the "update" that I didn't want, ask for or appreciate.
