S7 Edge : auto press "back" key and "recent apps" key does not light

Hello everyone,

I have 2 problems with my new S7 Edge...

1. The "back" key seems to auto-press everytime I press once on it... So, the phone purposes me to choose apps for multiple windows mode.

2. The "recent apps" key does not light and does not detect my fingers very well.

Thank you for your help.

Thank you, I installed it, it works !
I agree, it's a workaround for our problem. But it's not a fix. I called Samsung, they will replace my phone. They agreed that there is a problem (certainly hardware). Searching on google, I found a lot of people having this issue with touche keys...

I hope, the new one will be more stable.

Another tip...

If I enable "power saving mode" touch keys works as excpeted (but does not light, of course). Then, if I disable it, the issue is back... So, maybe it's a software issue ?

Interesting, so turning off the lights fixes the issue. Weird...

I was thinking of replacing my phone too, however I spent a long time setting it up how I like it, and seeing as it's not an isolated issue (and could even be a software issue), replacing it might not even fix it.

So I am hoping maybe there will be a software update in future to fix this. In the meantime, I guess the workarounds are bearable, and less annoying than having to send the phone back and reconfigure a new one from scratch!

Have you tried my last solution ? Did it work for you too ?
I agree with you, I'm going to spend a lot of time re-installing my apps et re-configuring them (maybe with a phone which will have the same issue :D).
I called Samsung, they didn't know it's a common issue with S7 :(

I must say, apart from you I haven't seen anyone else complain about this issue on the internet, so if it is indeed a software issue, it may just be due to something in our config and never be fixed...

But yes, thanks, your last solution seems to work for me too (for now!), so it does seem it's a software issue indeed. I think if it just keeps working like that it's good enough for me!
