S7 Edge Bricked Itself

Had my phone 4 weeks and everything worked perfectly. Last evening I was reading the news (CBS) and went to scroll down and the screen was frozen so I did a quick restart and the phone completely bricked and I do mean completely! I was running a few apps from Google But no custom ROM or anything like that. Phone was current with updates. I took it to the local Verizon Store (they have some pretty good techies at this one).
They inspected the phone and tried all their stuff to unbrick it but no cigar. They are overnighting a new phone but still a major inconvenience! Anyone else have this problem?

Lemons happen. Especially new devices as companies production constantly gets refine.

Socks that it happens.

In October of 2014, I bought a Droid Turbo when it first came out.

Day 1, the screen in one corner, had a dead spot. Verizon replaced it.

2-3 months after that, the phone would reboot when I launched the camera. Verizon replaced it.

My 3rd device had a practice date of much later than the first two devices...has worked fine.

That story doesn't help you, other than letting you know, Lemons devices do happen.

Thanks, I agree completely and understand this stuff happens. I think some frustration just comes from not knowing exactly what caused it and could it have been prevented.
