S7 Edge Nougat Update Missed Call Vibration

with the Nougat update, my phone now vibrates after a missed call. It has nothing to do with Smart Alert, as I have that and all other (visible) vibration settings turned off. Anyone have any input as to how to stop that vibrating after a missed call?

Are you sure the vibration is from a missed call and not from a new voicemail message?

absolutely. no voicemails have been left. i have even called from my workline, and the vibration holds true to missed calls.

your presumption would be correct. it has indeed been unchecked and yet it still vibrates twice after missed call.

I've the S7 (not edge) but the same thing has always happened. I'm due to start a new job and I don't want to have to turn my phone off during the day so does anyone have a solution to stop the vibrate on a missed call, even when the phone is on mute?
Smart Alerts are off. No voicemails left and definitely on missed calls only.
