S7 Edge (SM-G935F) Mail Account Issue

Dear all,

I've had this problem since yesterday afternoon and it's driving me crazy so I would very much appreciate any help that you could give me.

I tried to add a new mail account (@outlook.com), but I think I got the password wrong the first time and then the second time I received a certificate/authentication error. Now, it is not listed at all under "combined view".
However, when I select "Settings", I can see it listed under "Accounts". When I select it, nothing happens, I cannot remove it, I can't sync it, I can't access it. Nothing.

All it says is "Sync disabled".

I have tried deleting it through, Apps - Settings - Accounts - Microsoft Exchange. However, it hasn't been removed from the "Email" app, and as there is no way of accessing it, I can't set it up at all.

What are your thoughts? Thanks in advance

Open Email app, press more on the upper right, and select settings. You will see the account in question. Press it and more options will appear. On the upper right you will see a 'remove' button.

Thanks for your reply. My problem is, when I press the account in question, it doesn't offer more options. It's inaccessible. With other accounts I can access the options when I select them, this one seems to be completely unresponsive. It's very strange. Your thoughts? Thanks again
