S7 G930U and G935U

How many readers here have the Samsung Galaxy S7 G930U or G935U?
This is the carrier unlocked US edition.
I am one of the many who was basically duped by Samsung. Typically, a Carrier Unlocked device is released specifically with the intention that the manufacturer has complete control over the Firmware installed on said device. This allows them to avoid the delay that the Carriers have due to adding their own customizations and "bloatware".
Instead, they entered the US Unlocked market and straight up dropped the ball. The whole idea of having a Carrier Unlocked device is to get the updates, both Security Updates and OS Upgrades directly from the manufacturer without any delay by the carriers. Yet in the case of the US Unlocked market for Samsung, the first two Official for the US consumer the S7 SM-G930U and the S7 SM-G935U are currently set to receive updates on a Quarterly basis rather than Monthly, like EVERY other S7 out there. Even their mid tier and entry level devices, the J series and the A series) are receiving FAR better regular support.

I'm not just talking about Nougat 7.0 here. I'm talking about the monthly security updates from Google and Samsung itself. Just this past month, Samsung announced a significant flaw in KNOX that has been patched, but these devices won't be safe until April sometime, following the quarterly patch schedule. This means that many users who purchased the S7's premium reputation, for a premium price with no carrier subsidy, with the intention to use it as a BYOD are faced with the possibility of being forbidden to use their devices by the IT department. Security Updates are just as important to the US Unlocked editions as they are to the Carrier Branded versions.

I want to know how Samsung justifies to those users that they will only be able to use their premium device 4 months out of the YEAR. It is not a question of fair or pride. It's one of personal security and the security of the thousands of users who are potentially faced with a BYOD issue.

People who buy a Carrier Unlocked device aren't just trying to get rid of bloatware, they are looking to the strength and reputation of the Manufacturer. When Samsung released an Unlocked device in the US, it was a sign that Samsung was taking control of the Firmware on their devices. Releasing monthly updates to every other S7 and S7 edge and then withholding it for the TWO devices in the US they have 100% control over is the WORST possible decision they could have made.

With the Unlocked editions in the US, Samsung had such a strong potential to have a loyal fan base that would provide steady, accurate, reliable feedback on system error reports, to Beta testers who would provide the best feedback. The guy who walks into Verizon or AT&T to get his / her device, is not the tech savvy type. The techies are the only ones that really know the Unlocked editions even exist. The Verizon / AT&T customers just want it to work. Most don't even know what the term "Launcher" is to know that it's the best way to really personalize your device. Samsung really missed out on the concept.

Enough ranting from me.
How many of you are affected by this total slap in the face from Samsung to the US consumers..??
