S7 not sending long sms

Hi all , using an s7 edge and my SMS app is Google messenger , if I type a text over 3 pages it will send but the person I'm sending to doesn't receive it , if I type a smaller text it goes through fine , I've even tried the stock Samsung messages app with same length of SMS but it still doesn't go through , anyone any ideas , thanks

Usually a very long text is automatically converted to an mms. And for that you and the recipient both have to have mms enabled.

Check your apn settings and that should allow for sending such messages.

To find out what the apn settings should be, search online for 'apn settings for [name of your carrier]'

Use Textra, then in the settings turn off send long sms as mms.
