S7 or keep my note 5

Yep and i use my spen

Notes got slimmer around 7. Try a Note 8.
They're troublesome but they don't blowup.

Okay sure! So you dont recommend the s7 around this time if your coming from the note 5

I've kept my GN5 as my personal phone. Got it in '15, and have gone through 6 other phones given from companies I've worked with. Use Netflix, dowload in over wi-fi easily (since T-Mobile screwed me halfway thru the contract). I used it as a backup for work too in case the other phones "died", which saved my a** quite a few times. SEN very handy indeed.
