Samsung have begun rolling out the PEQ update to its Exynos, Global, model of the Galaxy S7, G930F . See post #2 for Edge.

The June security patch is included in this latest release. Not only that, there's a big jump in the changelist # from the last release, PD3, on #7538748 to this new release on changelist #8206888. (N.B. Samsung do not post actual changelist details.) Having said that, this update includes the bugfixes mentioned in... Samsung rolling out bug fix software update for Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge

Releases so far for both unbranded and lightly branded firmwares for...

United Kingdom
Netherlands
Bulgaria
Slovenia
South East Europe
Baltic
Romania
France
Macedonia (T-Mobile)
Luxembourg
Czech Republic (T-Mobile)
Hungary (T-Mobile)
Mexico

Check via OTA or Samsung Smart Switch. More releases rolling out as I type. :)

The Verizon carrier branded model, G935V, has also been updated with the June security patch to release PE1. (This will not include the bugfixes mentioned above)

I/m a newbie in Android. How this update will be installed ? Auto or i have to go in About device and check manually ? Download updates auto is on.
Already checked manually and no update for me, say "the latest updates already been installed, current version G935FXXU1APD1.
My model number is SM-G935F

As mentioned in post #2... You can check via OTA or Samsung Smart Switch. The update, when it is available for your phone's Product Code, (install, Phone INFO ★Samsung★ free from the Play Store to locate that), will be pushed Over The Air, (OTA), or you can connect to the Samsung PC prog; Smart Switch to check.

As well as the the PEQ build mentioned in post #1, Samsung have begun rolling out an even later build, PF2, dated 1st June which has an even higher changelist number of #8252943. Releases on this new firmware for the G935F, Global model, are...

Bulgaria
Slovenia
Romania
Netherlands
Panama

Check via OTA or Samsung Smart Switch.

My 930V from Verizon (US) got an update this morning (G930VVRU2APE1), in case that helps anyone...

Thanks Shootr, see post #3, above.

Where can I find out what's in this update? Got a notice I have one waiting on my Verizon S7E

Samsung do not issue the Verizon firmware updates but we do know that it is 25 builds behind PQE in posts #1 & #2 and 31 builds behind PF2 in post #7, which are currently being rolled out by Samsung to their Global models. Verizon's own website just shows it as an update to the June security patch...

Globe Telecom branded. Well the only branding I could see on it is boot animation anyway.

Where do I check the product code?

Cheers chanchan05. Sounds like the Globe Telecom firmware for Singapore on Product Code, MM1, if I recall correctly. See post #5 for how to locate your Product Code.

Well, at least we know why there is a jump in the changelist number for the latest PEQ and PF2 firmware releases for the Global, Exynos, model that include the June security patch as well. It would seem that Samsung have also included, among other things, improvements to the camera, as this GSMArena report shows...

"The camera improvements that the update brings along include a fix for an issue where initial video playback flickers after recording has been resolved, as well as an issue where previews of specific routes are shown in red or green.

Other bugs that have been fixed include an occasional cover recognition issue as well as an issue where recorded videos were not shown in Quick View after recording was stopped.

Rolling out in several countries worldwide (including the UK), the update reportedly weighs in at 329MB in Europe, while in several other regions it's only around 70MB.
