S8 battery charging slowly

My S8 was draining fast, so Verizon replaced it. The replacement was charging slowly, so they replaced it again. The replacement did the same thing, so they replaced it again. Same result. I've used three different chargers and cables in different outlets. Every time it takes close to two hours to charge. I've charged it in safe mode, same result, so it's not a third party app. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Side note, I can't get GSAM to work. I am trying to find out which app is causing the Android OS battery drain. ADB won't work with my device for some reason.
 
Have you tried charging it with the phone off? Or booted into safe mode? Also, doe the battery drain abnormally fast when not charging?

Thanks for the reply! I've tried in safe mode, same result. I don't want to charge it while it's off, that would be inconvenient.
 
Are you using the phone whilst charging? Also, do you have fast charge enabled?

From my experience it takes around 80 minutes to go from 0 to 100% using fast charge. I don't recall testing with standard charge rates, but 2 hours potentially doesn't sound too out of the ordinary.

I'm not using it while charging. I even tried it in safe mode, so I know it's not a third party app.
 
Are the 3 different cables and chargers the correct "fast charging" ones? I'm no expert but they need to be a certain level of fast charging for the S8+/S8
 
Honestly 2 hours doesn't seem too slow compared to mine. Probably about 90 mins for me on fast charge. I have a feeling fast charge isn't as quick as it could've been because of the exploding battery problem Samsung had with the note. Is fast charge turned on? Settings, device maintenance, battery, three dots top right, advanced settings :)
