S8 Plus - Worth the money???

I just got the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus, and I dropped it in a puddle, and nothing happened. But today it met its match - I fell. It broke my fall. The screen didn't shatter nor show any signs of breaking... Until i turned it on. The LCD was displaying Some weird shapes and showing the bottom of the screen on the top. It still worked, like, i could swipe and everything, but it didn't function well with the screen everywhere. SHould i spend the money getting it fixed, toss it, or just keep using it as-is.

For damage that was no fault of Samsung/the network? There's very little chance of getting a refund.

I just smashed the screen on mine (but I'm thankfully getting it replaced for £30 via insurance on my bank account) and when investigating screen replacements, they're upwards of £250.

I wouldn't use as is, but if you've got the cash to fix it, you certainly won't find many better devices for the cost of a replacement screen.
