It means NFC is turned on. That should not be affecting mobile data though, and is only activated if you bring an NFC tag or something else with NFC in very close proximity to the back of the phone. You can turn NFC off in settings or the notification pull-down shade if you're not using it.

please what is NFC cannot find in notifications.

NFC is an acronym for Near Field Communication. Clipped from the net: Near Field Communication (NFC) is a method to wirelessly share information on your Samsung Galaxy S8. Use NFC to share contacts, websites, and images. You can even make purchases at locations that have NFC support. An NFC message appears automatically when your phone is within an inch of the target device.

It can be enabled as well as disabled within your settings. To manage NFC you will find the options in your settings under Connections.

bingo got it ,thank you.

Even with nfc on data should still be useable correct? It looks like a SIM card notification on the top left with an exclamation mark in the center.

Absolutely. NFC and mobile data are completely separate things.

It looks like a SIM card notification on the top left with an exclamation mark in the center.

That means there's no SIM inserted or there's an error with the SIM. Of course the OP posted a sample pic from Android Authority, and not his actual device.
