Yesterday I noticed a crack/crush looking place on the lower left of my screen. I have not had a drop and in fact I have been especially careful with the phone, only carrying it in my purse in a soft pocket or keeping it on my desk or counter. Mostly I just want to document somewhere that I have this problem because from what I'm reading on different threads there are other cases of spontaneous cracking. I'm planning on installing a Whitestone Dome Tempered Glass protector in hopes of stopping further cracking. Comments"

S8+ screen cracked without drop

A spontaneous crack in a screen can happen from a manufacturing defect, but if it looks like it's been crushed and it's on the corner of the screen, where a common drop impact would occur, I think you are going to have a hard time proving it wasn't from a drop.
