S8 stock weather app problem.

My S8 stock weather app has stopped updating a few days ago and wondered if any other member as noted this ?

Set to 3 hours for update and location turned on.
Doesn't look like I can change anything else ?

Ps... my wifi is always On and it will update manually if this helps someone find a fix.

Do you have power saving mode turned on as this will stop apps from auto updating? Also is the app set as optimised for doze? If it's optimized then the app goes to sleep when the phone does and from my experience God knows when it wakes up again. Try setting it to not optimised.

Found the fix....

1. Open the weather app and tick "add icon to app list" in the settings menu.

2. Go to phone general settings / notifications and turn the weather app on.
