S912 vs s905x boxes

I'm looking at buying a box tonight. The two boxes I'm looking at are

Beelink GT1

I know the s912 is an octa-core CPU... but is it worth an extra $30 after shipping?

I'd go for the cheapest one...

Spec wise they're almost identical and for the sake of apps like KODI, the differences don't matter.
