Root Safestrap Rom Installations Not Working

Hello, I'm running android 4.4.2 on my Verizon GS3. I have root access and I have successfully installed Safestrap, but every time I flash a rom (using a rom slot other than stock) I just get boot loop and it never works. The rom I'm trying to flash is the latest Cyanogenmod version for my phone (I have verified everything to make sure I'm doing it correctly). I have no idea why it isn't working. Anyone have any ideas?

CM uses a modified kernel and to the best of my knowledge you are only going to be able to flash Touchwiz based Roms that uses the stock kernel.
Still no way to unlock the bootloader that I know of.
The i535's that are able to run AOSP Roms never updated their firmware to the version that locks the bootloader.
Thanks to Knox, you can't downgrade to the unlocked bootloader version.
