Samsung 6 has malware issues

I have a bug in my cellphone that I can't get rid of, The adware issue is ad.doubleclick.net.
I have tried several search engines but I continue to be routed to another site, usually it is an ad. I have installed Norton security and ran it but still the problem remained. Thanks for any help!!! Jerry_

Doubleclick is an ad company owned by Google, so that isn't a malware app. What you are seeing is something that is serving ads, and it happens that it's ads from doubleclick that it's serving.

You aren't clear on where you are seeing them, but it sounds like a browser redirect. So most likely some website you visited served an aggressive ad script to you (it's not an app, so your security app doesn't see it). Try clearing your browser's cache, if that doesn't work its history, and if that doesn't work back up your bookmarks and consider clearing its data. You can also test by using a different browser: if this is what's happened a new browser won't be affected.

If it's not just the browser redirecting please give a bit more detail.

(As an aside, doubleclick, before Google bought them, were a pioneer in tracking cookies. They were the very first site whose cookies I blocked. But they are not the cause here, it's just that something is directing you to ads that happen to be provided through them).
