You may have a broken power button, or your battery contacts may be dirty or worn.
Inspect the battery compartment and the terminals on your battery for debris, or wear. if you still have trouble, you may have to take your phone to your retailer and let them know your situation, and they will will either replace it or send it to the manufacturer to be repaired or replaced.
