Help Samsung Apps

Specifically, which Samsung apps can be removed without affecting performance of the phone?

I am concerned some of these apps are causing battery drain so I would like to remove some or all of them.

I dont use any of the Samsung preloaded apps at all.

I also want to know that if removing or disabling them sucha s the Samsung Account app will affect the default calendar app as I do use this and synce it to google calendar.

What apps are you questioning because I'm pretty sure none of them affect performance.

I rooted my device and the ROM comes with none of the Samsung applications, meaning none of them affect your phone's daily use.

Apps such as Samsung Account, cloud. ...pretty much anything branded Samsung. ..I want to know if anything is vital to the phone or if it will affect the S Calendar on the phone...thanks

This is for the Sprint version and kind of outdated but should be a good place to start. Just make sure you make a nandroid backup in recovery first in case the phone boot loops from removing something you shouldn't have.

Typically if you're not rooted you can disable whatever you like without disastrous results, if you are rooted then as suggested make a nandroid backup first. Pretty sure you can go at the Samsung bloatware without any issues though.

I disabled half the Samsung bloatware on my Galaxy S5. No I'll effects.

Does anyone know which of these would affect the S Calendar app/widget that would prevent it from working or syncing?

That is my main concern.
