Samsung avant screen seems dim and dull

Has anyone with this phone noticed that this phones display seems dim and is hard to see especially outdoors. I just got this phone for metropcs because it had good specs. The phone has a TFT lcd screen, which seems like an outdated technology. I'm wondering if I should exchange my phone for a cheaper phone that has an IPS display. Ive seen that the cheaper phones have IPS displays with lower PPI. for example the LG F60 has an IPS display with 207 ppi and my phone has a TFT display with 245 PPI. Should I go for the cheaper phone with a 207 PPI IPS screen or keep my phone with the 245 PPI TFT screen. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Just a question, are you planning on doing any kind of rooting with you're new android device (either this one or whichever you chose)? Because I've noticed that there isn't much dev love for the lg f60, where there is at least a recovery for the avant. I'm just saying that if you can stand the screen (which honestly isn't that bad IMO) I would stick with this phone. Just a different way to look at which phone to get lol.

It's true the display isn't the greatest, but that's one of the reasons this is a $100 phone and the S5 is a $600 phone.
It all depends on what's important to you, if cost and/or root options (as mentioned above) are high on your list the Avant is worth considering. OTOH if you use your phone for a lot of video and gaming then you may want to consider a device with a better display.
