Samsung Continuum Question

I noticed that there are 3 spots next to the ear speaker that would appear to be LED holes... yet this phone has no LED. Anyone know why or what those are for?

Those are the various sensors on your phone. One is the proximity sensor.

two sensors that are close to each other are a pair proximity sensors that are responsible for locking ur touchscreen when u bring ur phone close to ur ear, to make a call or attend a call, the other one is the ambient light sensor which automatically adjusts the brightness of ur screen acc to the measure of light incident on ur screen
