An interesting report suggests Samsung is skipping the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 to instead launch the Galaxy Note 7.
The report suggests the number skip isn't to signify some huge advancement, but instead to bring it more in line with the Samsung Galaxy S7. Samsung supposedly found that people thought of the Galaxy Note 6 as an old device since its release number was always lesser than the Samsung Galaxy S line.
