Samsung extsd 16gb

I have a brand new Samsung 16gb ext SD card that I have never used in my phone. When I decided to transfer my files to it I was surprised to see there were already two files set up on it. One being a folder labeled Android with a file of data that includes com.google.android.music that includes a file named files that has nothing in it. The other folder is labeled LOST.DIR that has no sub files and is empty. I didn't put these files on the extsd card and the properties for these file's say it was modified on wed. Hi

lost.dir is normal. I assume that you have google play music on your phone, in which case that folder is normal as well. I dont think you have anything to worry about. Dont delete them (if you do I think either they will be recreated or you will have problems)

What if I move them back over to the sdcard0 where it should be and not on my externalsdcard? I don't want anything on the externalsd card unless I put it there myself.

Hi

Leave lost.dir Its created by the system and needs to exist in every mounted partition including your sdcard as far as I know. The other "Android" folder is also created by apps you have and moving it may cause a problem but you could try it.....
