Samsung Fascinate -Can't find help anywhere

Here's the deal...
I bought a new Samsung Fascinate galaxy s SCH I500 Saturday at my local
Page Plus dealer.
It is ran on the verizon 3g network.
I want to update the phone so I can get Flash and other apps
the Firmware version is 2.1-update1

Samsung won't help me
Verizon won't help
page plus won't help

Does anyone know how I can get the update???

If you don't get any help here, you may want to try the xda community. They are a very knowledgable, and seem to respond to posts helpfully. Sometimes it's so much traffic through here, it's hard to get an answer. I mostly just browse. Lol.
