Samsung Fascinate (Verizon) video issue

HI all,
My wife has the Samsung Fascinate. Last week, she said she tried to capture video of my thesis defense, and when she went back into gallery to view the video, the file was not there. It was as if she had not recorded anything.

Now, she swears that she hit the record button and the stop button, and has gotten other videos to save to gallery, so I am wondering if there is a known glitch where random videos will not save to the phone. Is it possible that the camcorder saved the video in a different directory? Has anyone else had this problem? I tried searching for it on the forums, but didn't find anything like this. If you know of a threat that answers this question, please accept my apologies, and forward the link along in the reply.

I had a Fascinate on my hip a while. While I can't really say for sure about anything as far as known issues, what I CAN say, is that I did have times when I would hit the record button, and then realize it would come up with an error, and no saved file (son's first rushing touchdown, notably :( ). Was never a rhyme nor reason to it. It would record 20 clips in a row, then one wouldn't, then the rest would go fine.

It's possible it just hiccuped at the time of capture, and it just didn't record, and she may just not have seen the error message pop up that it didn't record.
