Help Samsung faulty wifi

Hi, so i recently bought a galaxy tab s 8.4 second hand and turns out i got the raw end of the deal. The wifi does not work, tried to get it fixed but to no avail. So im wondering if there are any other options. For example is there any sort of plug in wifi receiver that i could buy that would work? Any kind of solution would be appreciated. Thanks lee

It may be the radios, and it may be the firmware. You might try to find the most recent stock firmware for the Galaxy Tab and use a program called Odin to reflash the operating system.
