Samsung Galaxy 2 Tab won't turn on!

My galaxy 2 tablet won't turn on. I plugged it in for a while and when I try to turn it on it shows the battery for a minute then turns off again. Its not even a year old! I paid like 600.00 for it and 70.00 monthly. Really?

Hi there and welcome to the forums!

First thing you need to do is let the tablet charge at least a few hours. I had a problem once with my Nexus 7 like you are having and I let it charge over night. Turned it on the next morning and it worked like nothing ever happened.

Another thing is sometimes the charging cable can be defective. If you have another cable you can try that also.

Samsung chargers are notorious for failure. Often they find the battery non-supported and refuse to charge it. Since the device has a mini-USB plug, your phone charger will often work fine (but charge slowly)
