Help Samsung Galaxy 3 Auto-Rotation Lag

There are posts about the problems in the auto-rotation for Samsung galaxy S.. But is anyone facing any problem with the auto rotation in Samsung Galaxy 3 I5801???

Everything else is fine with my galaxy 3 but when it comes to auto-rotation it seems to lag. It takes like about 4 to 5 secs and at times maybe 8 to 10 secs for the screen to change.

I use the auto rotation only when I'm using the keyboard and when I'm not using the keyboard, I always off the auto-rotation....

Does anyone have any clue how to fix the lag for the auto-rotation??? I'm currently using Froyo 2.2.. and most of my applications are Go Launcher EX...

Considering that the Galaxy 3 is a low end phone with a slow processor, what you are experiencing shouldn't be a surprise.

But the auto-rotation used to work well before.. Before means like 6 to 7 months back.. now its too slow.. is there any thing I need to upgrade or delete if I need the auto-rotation to go smoothly???

As mentioned earlier, it used to auto-rotate smoothly without any lag...

It could depend on whatever was your settings before compared to now. Maybe you have more apps hogging resources and the like.

Is there any way to off the auto rotation on the main window??? It lags a lot... But when I use auto rotation while typing a msg, there isn't any lag... Only in the main window...

When I use auto rotation in the main window all the widgets takes some time to show up...

Pls help,, this is really getting on my nerves...

the only time mine lags is if lots of apps are running, I use app killer when I use the internet and it runs fine.

Mine lags too, about 5 seconds sometimes, especially on home screen

I use Launcherpro and Destiny 2.1 ROM...

But the lag was always there, on stock ROM and other ROMs too...

However, it would be nice if there was a way to speed it up....
