Help Samsung galaxy 3

Hello
When trying to use my Galaxy 3, I found it does not turn on. The battery was full, but not even after half hour connected. Any idea of what the problem could be?
Thank you

Hello!
Are you saying that after a half an hour of being on from fully charged, it shut off? Or does it not even turn on anymore?

Did you try charging it again? Faulty battery perhaps? How old is the battery?
Is it the S3, or the Note 3? Other 3? ;)

It is the S3. I left it this morning full, above 90% of battery. When tried to open, did not react. I chargued for half hour, just in case, but nothing happened

Pop the battery out and let it sit for a half an hour or so to completely discharge. If that doesn't work, stop into a store and ask to try one of their batteries. If that doesn't work either, it looks like it might be something failed in the phone hardware.

Curious if will boot into recovery mode?
hold down the home button...while holding that down, press/hold the volume up button...while holding down those 2 buttons, press/hold the power button. The screen should come on into recovery.

The reason I suggest trying that, is to rule out some sort of OS failure?

Just a thought, otherwise as Luna suggested, try a new battery at the store :)

I think I messed up. It is a Samsung Tab 3, cannot take battery out, right? My apologies for the confusion

Ah, perhaps you are correct about the battery not being removeable then.

Not familiar with that tablet, but still wondering if you can boot into recovery. I'd have to look into the correct button combo to do that with the tab 3....
How new/old is the device?

It's still home + vol. up + power to boot into recovery.

To force a reboot try this:

  1. Plug the charger into your galaxy tab.
  2. Hold down power button for 20 seconds, and wait to reboot.
  3. After that, the screen will be change with charging battery.
  4. Plug off your tab, and it will be shutdown.
