Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 x Internet Connection

[Android Question]

I just bought the phone, and it sees my internet connection at home (very strong) and when i try to connect it, it says "Obtaining IP address..." and it never ends up connecting!

WHY? HELP!!

This could be due to several issues. Does your WiFi have a password? Is the password correct? Have you tried forgetting the connection and trying to reinitialize it? Have you restarted your router and your phone?
