Help Samsung Galaxy Apollo stuck in boot (startup) screen

Hey guys,

I was installing a new app for my Samsung Galaxy Apollo (Flight Control) and after the install (or while installing, not sure) my phone crashed. Now, when I reboot it, it gets stuck in the boot (startup) screen, displaying "GT-I5800"...

Anyone had this before and/or knows how to fix it?

Yep, you are stuck in a 'boot loop'.

If you can't power off just take the battery out and wait 5 to 10 seconds. Remove your SIM card and your SD card (if you have one). Put the battery back in. Then do a hard reset - press the middle of the volume button + the home (centre) button and while holding them down press the power button. Wait for the boot screen to appear and then release all the buttons. The 'Recovery Menu' will appear. Navigate to 'factory reset' and press 'okay'. The phone will be reset to its original condition and should then start normally. You will lose contacts and data though.

That is about the only thing you can do.

Thanks for your response.

However I guess I'll have to go and buy a new one... I've tried everything, but serieusly everything, but it keeps freezing...

I tried the factory reset, reset cache, reset firmware, new firmware, removing/replacing SIM/SD-card, charging my phone and try it all over again, but without any success...

Everytime, over and over again, my phone freezes in the update-process/while booting...
