Samsung galaxy GT I9003 imei code

hello sir......
there is a suddenly problem in my samsung galaxy-GT-I9003 mobile.
it goes in flight mode
and no sim card detected.
so i have send it to samsung care.
but they told that it will cost 5000 rupees for repairing.because the imei number is lost.
will u plz tell me how to get imei number ?
i have try *#06#.but no imei number exist.
how to get new imei number?
plz tell me.

BEST OPTION; Take the back cover off and pull the battery, all the phone info including the imei or meid numbers are physically located there in print...

You can also go into settings, then click on about phone, and your number should be stored in there as well, but no guarantee since it doesn't come up when you prompt for it *#06#...
