Hello.
Samsung Galaxy J3 Prime
I have tried with multiple usb cables to connect the phone to my computer,because i took some important pics,that i need to copy to my pc.
I have also downloaded all the drivers i can find-all usb drivers for the phone.
Windows 7 64bit will not read the phone.I cannot see it after opening windows explorer.

To be sure to get all the correct Samsung USB drivers, I would install Smart Switch on your PC.
Also use a high quality USB cable, the OEM cable that came with the phone if available. Don't use a USB hub, connect to 2.0 port on back of desk top or direct to laptop.

more info to add.
I,ve used the cable that came with.
Also used 2 other usb cacles from mp3 players-Sansa
I,ll try your ideas.

You can also check the USB Setting in the hidden menu. One of these codes should work.
Older Samsung phones was *#7284#
Newer Samsung phones should be *#0808#
Open your phones dialer keypad and enter the code. After the last #, should take you to USB menu. Make sure MTP+ADB is checked.

It worked!
Thankyou very much.
So that will be the only time the code has to be entered.
Its not actually my phone,and i,m not even a cell phone owner.

Settings shouldn't change after you set it. Every now and then, one slips through the cracks and gets shipped from the factory with the wrong settings.
