Help samsung galaxy player 5.0 problems

I recently received a samsung galaxy player 5.0 and when i turned it on it stayed stuck on the samsung screen so i did a factory rest in recovery mode then rebooted it and when it restarts it lets me set the time and language then i get this message.. "the application setup wizard has unexpectedly stopped".. and that is as far as it lets me go.....am new to android and dont have much knowledge about it. If anyone can help me please

Sounds like you have a faulty device, but I'm no expert either. You might get a better response in the Galaxy Player section but the solution may simply be to take it back and get a replacement. You shouldn't have that sort of problem straight out of the box.

that isnt normal when first turning it on and at the setup stage. if you can take it back, not even worth trying to figure out when that happens so early in the game.
